In June of 2019, Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, better known as Rapper YG was arrested in front of a Los Angeles nightclub off Sunset Boulevard.
Rapper YG was stopped for weaving between lanes and speeding.
Police apparently believed that he was under the influence of alcohol so they administered a sobriety test to the rapper which surprisingly he passed.
Almost no one ever passes a sobriety test. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department says Rapper YG passed. He also showed no alcohol on a preliminary breath tester (PBT).
Rapper YG apparently because upset being tested for DUI when he was not drinking and according to police became hostile and uncooperative. He also began inciting the crowd who had come, in part to see him. At that time he was handcuffed.
YG Rapper was released to take the stage at Staples Center for the BET Experience where he gave a tribute performance to Nipsey Hussle.
